Town to Offer Two Special Bulky Item Collection Events in 2025
As part of the Town's recent contract extension with GFL Environmental, the Town will offer two special bulky item collection events in 2025. The spring collection date is scheduled for Saturday, April 5, and the fall collection date is scheduled for Saturday, September 6.
Residents can put their items out 10 days prior to the event.
GFL will collect larger bulky items from residential properties, including the following:
residential appliances
old furniture
lawn furniture
large boxes, and
other large residential use items that won't fit into a typical trash container.
It is important to note that the following items will not be collected, as they can not be legally disposed of in a landfill:
construction and demolition debris
tires
car parts
yard waste
paint
electronic waste
pesticides, and
any other hazardous materials.
The Town is pleased to partner with GFL to offer this new service to our residents and property owners in 2025!
