Town of Cape Carteret Adopt-A-Bench Program
The Town of Cape Carteret is proud to introduce the Adopt-A-Bench Program. This program allows individuals, families, businesses, and other organizations an opportunity to sponsor the purchase of a bench to honor or memorialize an individual or advertise a business on a customizable plaque that will be affixed to each bench. These benches will be placed around the Town in a mutually agreed upon location between the Town and Donor. This program offers a unique opportunity to leave a personal mark on Cape Carteret while supporting the continued enhancement of our public spaces.
General Requirements
Individuals, families, and businesses may adopt a bench. Sponsorship for a bench is $1300. This sponsorship covers a portion of the cost to purchase, install, and maintain the bench for years to come. Each bench comes with a 3”x 6.25” plaque that can be personalized with your unique inscription.
How to Order
1. Complete the adopt-a-bench form and send (or stop by Town Hall) to Town of Cape Carteret, 102 Dolphin St, Cape Carteret, NC 28584 along with a check made payable to the Town of Cape Carteret in the amount of $1,300.
2. Upon receipt of application and payment, you will be contacted to confirm your order and ensure details are correct, including wording on your plaque. Once the bench is ordered, it is anticipated that it will be at least three months before they are received and installed.
3. The Town will contact you when the bench is installed.
