Trash and recycling collection is provided by the Town's contractor, GFL Environmental, Inc.
Trash collection occurs every Monday throughout the entire Town. Trash containers should be placed at the curbside no later than 6 am each Monday to ensure collection.
Recycling collection occurs every other Saturday, and a link to the recycling collection schedule is posted below. Recycling containers should also be placed at the curbside no later than 6 am on the day of collection.
The collection schedule is in effect year-round, except for Christmas Day and New Year's Day. If the collection day for trash or recycling falls on one of these days the schedule will be adjusted and the alternative collection day will be publicized by the Town.
Under the Town's contract with GFL Environmental, Inc., one trash container and one recycling container is provided for each location. Additional containers can be secured for a fee directly through GFL Environmental, Inc., and they can be contacted at 252-223-4176.
