The Cape Carteret Board of Adjustment is appointed by the Board of Commissioners to review requests for variances from the Town's development ordinances and consider any appeals of Town staff decisions. The Board of Adjustment consists of 5 regular members and 2 alternate members, with each appointed for a 3-year term.
The Board of Adjustment meets only when necessary to conduct business, and any meetings will be publicized accordingly on the Town's website and as otherwise legally required.
