Cape Carteret Town Hall is located at 102 Dolphin Street Cape Carteret, NC 28584. At Town Hall you can purchase a boat ramp pass, purchase a golf cart pass, obtain a yard sale permit, and obtain a re-entry pass/town park parking pass. You can also apply for various types of permits including zoning permits. 
2023 Holiday Schedule

Tax Information FY 2022-2023

The current tax rate for the Town of Cape Carteret is 21.25 cents per hundred dollars of tax value. Carteret County is now collecting taxes on behalf of the town. The tax value assessments are done by Carteret County and the town is unable to adjust those assessed values. Tax bills become delinquent the first Tuesday in January.
