Swim Lessons

Have a child that needs to learn how to swim for the first time? The Town of Cape Carteret wants to ensure that children who live in a waterfront community know how to swim. Starting July 1, 2011, the Town began offering reduced cost swim lessons to town residents. The town will supplement the first three sessions. These lessons cost $50, and residents can obtain a $25 voucher from Cape Carteret Town Hall that will reduce your cost to $25.

Vouchers in the amount of $25 can be used at Star Hill Golf Course swimming pool.

You may pick up a voucher from Town Hall Monday through Friday, 9 AM-5 PM.  You must be a resident or property owner in the Town of Cape Carteret. Please see the Zoning Map to verify your address is within the town limits. Proof of residency will be required. If you find that you live in the Town of Cedar Point contact their Town Hall staff at 252-393-7898 to get information about their swim program.

For more information about our swim program call Town Hall at 393-8483,  or Star Hill Swim Coach Anne Brandenburg at 910-389-8750.
