Boat Ramp Passes available for purchase. 


The Town of Cape Carteret offers the use of a boat ramp facility at the end of Manatee Street to our residents and property owners for a yearly fee of $225.00. The Town sells a limited number of Boat Ramp Passes each year. The Town also offers the use of two Kayak Storage Facilities for our residents. One at the end of Holly Lane and the other at the end of Bayshore Drive. The fee for use of the Kayak Storage Facility is $25.00 per year. Please find the applications for all water related passes to the right.
Property addresses will be verified prior to issuance of a Town Boat Ramp Pass and/or Kayak Facility Pass.

A limited number of Boat Ramp Passes are also available to our neighboring towns ($500.00) and out of area ($750.00) residents for an additional fee dependent upon your property address.

BOAT RAMP PASSES ARE SOLD OUT 2022-23

Boat ramp passes can be purchased at Town Hall during normal business hours. 
The current rates are as follows:
     1) Town Residents (Tax Paying Property Owners)
                      $225.00 (from July 1, 2022 thru June 30, 2023)
     2) Local Non-Residents (Cedar Point, Bogue, and Peletier Residents)
                       $500.00 (from July 1, 2022 thru June 30, 2023)
     3) Other (Non-commercial)
                        $750.00 (from July 1, 2022 thru June 30, 2023)
                                         Fees will not be prorated.

New boat ramp fines have been established: $50-$1000 per violation per day.
